Warning about lavender

A study was published in Science News that raises serious questions about lavender use in children: www.healthfinder.gov

As lavender growers, we wanted to bring this issue to your attention. We assure you, we are working hard to keep readers well-abreast of timely information regarding lavender-related health issues.

Our first and foremost concern is the health and safety of our lavender recipients. If you prefer not to receive seasonal deliveries of lavender and lavender byproducts, please send us your contact information and we will remove you from our mailing list or find alternate gift ideas. On the other hand, please let us know if you would like your seasonal deliveries increased.

It is recommended that lavender products be used in moderation with children, but so far research says nothing to suggest that adolescents or adults are at risk. So, ladies, you probably shouldn't get your hopes up. We plan to conduct further research and testing on the issue.
